So excited to announce that my mystical little film, “All Hallows / All Saints,” will have it’s premiere as an official selection of the First Hermetic International Film Festival!
⠀
FHIFF is a very unique film festival that specializes in art house mystical films. Having checked out some of the selected films from previous years, I can tell you that this fest is well curated for those with Kenneth Anger and Jodorowsky tastes. We’re so delighted to be a part of it! ⠀
⠀
Normally held in Venice, Italy (and I was really hoping to attend this year), the 2020 festival screenings will be held online through festival partner Occultrama.com‘s platform. Screening info coming soon!
⠀
All Hallows / All Saints is an experimental film that riffs on a familiar biblical passage from Corinthians in the form of an encounter with a Holy Guardian Angel on the morning after Halloween. I enjoyed writing this film while wandering the streets of the French Quarter in New Orleans around Halloween, and enjoyed acting in it a couple of weeks later in NYC! Check out these stills from the movie:
